and avoid Wild Caught, it might seem like the greatest bargain finding a
cockatoo for $50.00 but the heartbreak involved if it is PBFD infected
is not worth the saving you make. Find a breeder, ask questions, do not
impulse buy, Cockatoos need A LOT of
attention and are HARD WORK. *** If you
have any concerns about your Cockatoo take it to your local avian vet
and for around $120.00 they can have your bird tested for PBFD. |

We realize that sometimes things in life change so people are no longer able to care for their parrots or reptiles.
That is why we started Parrot and Reptile Haven to care for and find homes for these beautiful creatures.
At this time we have carers in most states of Australia. So please feel
free to email us with the details of the parrot or reptile you wish to
re-home and we will get back to you.

Do you have unwanted Parrot or Reptile items?
All of our carers are volunteers and receive no government grants. We
do not like to turn away any parrot or reptile in need.
Yet our resources are severely stretched and with baby bird season
coming up we need all the help we can get with cages or food donations.
PLEASE if you have a cage or aviary that you are not using, consider
donating it to a good cause. We are happy to pick cages up in both
Melbourne and Queensland.
If you have any reptile enclosures you're not using we would love the donation.
